Our Founding and History
Founded in 1991, Hotchandani Laser, Vein & Cosmetic Surgery has always been a family company. We take pride in providing the best possible care to our communities. Our beginnings were as a vascular and general surgery private practice founded by G. Hotchandani, M.D., a board-certified surgeon and the former Chief of Surgery at the Veteran's Administration hospital in Iron Mountain, MI. Today, we are a pioneer in providing aesthetic medical and cosmetic surgery services to clients who seek exceptional results at an excellent value.
Hotchandani Laser, Vein & Cosmetic Surgery's entrance into the aesthetic medical field over 10 years ago began with technological breakthroughs in medical lasers that allowed for the safe and effective treatment of varicose veins. In what would become a common theme as new procedures are added (the same happens today), these advancements treated venous diseases without surgery and with significantly less downtime. Since adding our first laser in 1997, Hotchandani Laser, Vein & Cosmetic Surgery has built an extensive laser, light and radiofrequency medical device offering and is committed to keeping up with the latest proven advancements available anywhere.
Today, Hotchandani Laser, Vein & Cosmetic Surgery is proud to offer the state-of-the-art technology and techniques through a highly trained, caring and experienced medical staff. We are always evaluating new treatment options and bring on those that give better results with less downtime. Our providers frequently attend Continuing Medical Education workshops, conferences and seminars to stay abreast of the latest techniques and keep their fundamentals strong and have done so over the past decade. For Dr. Hotchandani, the CME events also sometimes give him a chance to fit in some quality time with his two sons in New York, NY!
Our Medical Director, Dr. Hotchandani, has over 30 years of medical experience including the last decade focused exclusively on aesthetic medicine. His philosophy is pure and simple -- use the best techniques and technology to help people feel confident about the way they look with as little pain and downtime as possible. Dr. Hotchandani is member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery. He is the proud father of two sons and enjoys skate skiing, mountain biking, golfing, yard work, and playing Uno among other board games.
